Staff and their families started the morning supporting the Lionesses, with the boardroom set up for everyone to enjoy the Women’s World Cup Final. Spain won but it was a close match and we are very proud of England’s women’s team.
We then moved outside for sunshine, socialising and a delicious BBQ, cooked by James. There were lot of games to choose from. Football was the most popular, closed followed by badminton, croquet and a strange ball in a sling that went everywhere but its intended target. Laurie’s Tesla also provided a lots of entertainment.
It was great to catch up with everyone and the weather was fantastic. We finished the afternoon with Aperol spritz cocktails and large slices of cake.
